Natural Connections Learning Academy is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission as a non-traditional learning center. This means that NCLA complies with a rigorous set of standards which ensure the quality of the center's academic programming. NCLA's compliance with standards provides security that graduates of NCLA will be accepted by most colleges and vocational schools throughout GA and the United States. Likewise, NCLA's students will be able to transfer to traditional public and private school systems without administrative difficulty should they choose to do so. According to the GAC's website, the GAC "is governed by a board of elected
educators who have an interest in education in Georgia. Membership of
the governing board represents teachers, instructional supervisors,
school administrators, Regional Educational Service Agency personnel,
Georgia Department of Education personnel, and college personnel who are
responsible for the preparation of teachers and other professional
educators." Representatives of the GAC visit NCLA annually to ensure that all standards are being consistently met. Please click here to view the list of standards.
